How to use
Planting in containers
- Prepare a clean container with drainage holes, dimensions adapted to the size of the root ball of an adult plant.
- Place a layer of drainage at the bottom of the container, e.g. gravel or pebbles.
- Fill the container halfway with the substrate and then gently place the plant in it.
- Fill the container with substrate to a height of 1.5 cm below its edge.
- Press the substrate carefully so as not to damage the roots.
- Water the newly planted plant abundantly with water.
Planting in the ground
- Prepare a hole in the ground 3-4 times larger than the plant's root ball.
- Fill the hole halfway with the substrate and then place the plant in it.
- Fill the hole with the plant with soil.
- Compact the soil, leaving a small depression around the newly planted plant to retain water.
- Water the substrate abundantly with water.
Recommendations
- It is recommended to water the bush abundantly before planting. If the plant's roots are bare (without soil), soak them in water for 4-5 hours.
- Do not use as an admixture to a previously used substrate.
- Plants should be watered regularly and protected against drying out.
- The substrate contains a starting dose of fertilizer, therefore it is recommended to start fertilizing them regularly about two weeks after planting the plants. Fertilizers should be used strictly in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and in accordance with the requirements of the cultivated plants.
- It is recommended to mulch the ground around the plants with bark. A layer of bark will ensure that the substrate remains moist for longer and limits the growth of weeds.
