Product description

Seed breeding: Danko

Quincy is a new variety of the population rape with a very high and stable level of yield among the population cultivars

Main advantages:

  • The distinguishing feature of Quincy rape is a high content of fat and protein, a reduced fiber content and, importantly from the quality point of view, a low content of MTN glucosinolates at the level of standard varieties of approx. 5 grams
  • Quincy is a variety that starts flowering very early (approx. 3 days) and matures early and evenly.
  • Quincy is characterized by a very high resistance to lodging, thanks to a significant shortening of the main shoot and low placement of side shoots, a low, compact canopy of very good stiffness
  • Early, with very good fertility
  • Low glucosinolate content
  • Good disease resistance
  • Medium height variety with very good lodging resistance
  • High in fat and protein
  • The variety is suitable for delayed sowing
  • Strong root system, tolerates periodic water shortages
