SU BANATUS is the latest creation of the Saaten-Union kennel. It is a class B winter wheat with a very high winter hardiness of 4.5 points. on the COBOR scale. SU BANATUS is not only a variety that will resist the harsh winter. It is wheat focused on very high yields, the average yield in the registered years was over 9.5 t per hectare. SU BANATUS is a variety with medium early earing and medium ripening, thanks to this combination of features it perfectly "escapes" from June droughts and has more time to pour the grain. This wheat also has an above-average MTZ. The health status of this variety is at a very high level, especially in terms of leaf and ear diseases. What distinguishes SU BANATUS is primarily the combination of such high winter hardiness with yield and the presence of the Pch1 gene. The latter feature is very important, because it significantly affects the level of damage to the base of the stem, and as we know, it is one of the most important diseases of wheat. The consequence of a healthy stem is a very high resistance to lodging. Due to the very good autumn vigor, SU BANATUS is recommended for delayed sowing, also after late-harvested maize and beets.
