High disease resistance and suitability for organic farming - these and many other advantages were appreciated in 2019 at the competitions of the Agrotech fair in Kielce and the Central Agricultural Fair in Nadarzyn.
In the Bojko variety, a modern ionization system was used, allowing the variety to go into a generative state in a very wide temperature range. In the climatic conditions of Poland, Boyko can be sown at any time of the year and will always enter the generative state and produce ears and grain. The most effective sowing period for economic reasons is from September 20 to April 30. You can sow Boyko even in winter. Winter hardiness genes are also introduced into the variety, so wintering is not a problem.

- as a raw material for biogas plants in biomass production crops alternating with maize or sorghum

Yielding
The Bojko rye variety as a spring cereal with moderate fertilization at the level of 50 kg N / ha gives a yield of about 50 dt / ha.
In 2008, Bojko rye sown in spring was more fertile than the Wanad and Migo spring triticale varieties. Boyko grain is suitable for milling purposes and for fodder, it has a much wider use than spring triticale.
In 2009, Bojko rye sown in spring was more fertile than the spring triticale varieties Dublet, Kargo, Migo, Milkaro, Nagano, and Milewo.
In 2007, Boyko rye yielded the level of Vanad spring triticale.
Boyko as winter rye with moderate fertilization at the level of 50 kg N / ha gives the yield of 50-89.20 dt / ha, depending on the soil complex.
