COMPO BIO Universal peat-free soil
The highest quality substrate intended for growing plants in boxes, raised beds and greenhouses as the top layer of the 1-2-3 System. The substrate contains only natural ingredients without artificial additives, making it perfect for growing edible plants. A particularly high humus content ensures soil fertility and healthy plant growth. The substrate does not contain peat and is intended for organic farming.
The 1-2-3 system is an innovative and exceptionally simple way to grow vegetables and fruits on your balcony. Thanks to this system, you can build a box on the balcony very quickly. The system consists of three layers:
1. The bottom layer consists of wooden chips and ensures adequate drainage and allows excess water to drain away.
2. The middle layer is a layer of compost, which increases the fertility and biological activity of the bed.
3. The upper layer made of ecological peat-free soil ensures stability for plants and access to nutrients.
The substrate was created using selected natural raw materials of the highest quality. All components used meet the strict COMPO requirements, and strict control carried out by independent research institutes in Germany guarantee the highest parameters of our products.
Only raw materials in accordance with EU Regulation 834/2007 were used to produce this substrate, so the substrate can be used in organic farming.

Dosage
To make a box for growing vegetables on a balcony with dimensions of 40 cm x 35 cm x 100 cm, you need 40 L of soil.
Composition
Substrate for cultivation.
Production raw materials: wood fiber, compost, tree bark, coconut fiber, organic fertilizer. Salinity (KCl): < 3.0 g/l. pH value (CaCl2): 5.0 - 7.0.
