Oats are a wonderful decoration for the Easter table. About two weeks before Easter, the seeds should be sown in a container with soil and sand, lignin or cotton wool. We can sow it for sprouts all year round. Make sure that the soil in the pot is constantly moist.
How to prepare home seed cultivation? There are two ways.
We line the plate with a thick layer of very damp gauze or lignin and cover it with seeds. They can be poured into a glass of lukewarm water for a day. From now on, we make sure that the foundation is constantly moist. We also cannot over-water, because too much water may cause the seeds to rot. Growth time – 6-10 days. Place the plate in a warm, bright place, preferably in the sun. And we rotate them while the plants are growing so that they do not lean towards the light.
The second way is to sow oats into four centimeters of garden soil in a shallow pot. And in this case, from now on we must keep the soil moist all the time. The room should be relatively warm and bright for as long as possible. The growth time of potted oats is 9-12 days. A pot of sprouting oats should also be rotated from time to time.
Easter oats will grow to a height of approximately 10 cm in 8-12 days. This will last for about two weeks.
