Important: The maximum recommended dose of starter fertilizer in the substrate is 0.5 kg/m3. Osmocote® 5 doses are adjusted to the capacity of the pots. When transplanting into larger pots, the effect of diluting the fertilizer should be compensated by increasing the dose in the new substrate. Please consult your ICL advisor for specific plant recommendations. Recommended doses apply to unfertilized substrates. The recommendations are of a general nature. The dose should be adjusted to specific situations, for example to growing conditions under cover or in greenhouses, and specific climatic conditions should be taken into account. This product is not recommended for spot, deep fertilization and/or planting in autumn and winter. For more detailed advice, please contact an ICL advisor. Before changing dosage, method of use or other factors, test on a small area. As growing conditions may vary and users' use of our products is beyond our control, ICL is not responsible for any adverse effects of using particular fertilizers.

Method of application

1. Use Osmocote® 5 8-9M primarily for container crops, perennial plants and various types of potted crops with a short production cycle.
2. Mix the product directly into the substrate to ensure optimal distribution of the granules.
3. You can use Osmocote® 5 in deep spots. For additional advice, please contact an ICL technical advisor.
4. If Micromax Premium is used at a rate exceeding 200 g/m3 of substrate and combined with Osmocote® 5 fertilizer, please contact your ICL technical advisor for detailed recommendations.
5. You can combine Osmocote® 5 with Peters and Universol® water-soluble fertilizers. Please contact your ICL Technical Advisor for specific recommendations.
6. Temperature may affect the operating time of Osmocote® 5 8-9M. (The fertilizer works for the time specified by the manufacturer at a temperature of 21ºC). 16ºC: 10–11 months 21ºC: 8–9 months 26ºC: 6–7 months
7. Close partially used or damaged bags tightly.
8. Store in a dry place.
