Automatic control - The float switch automatically turns on the pump when the water exceeds a certain level. When the water level drops, the pump turns off automatically. The limits can be adjusted individually by locking the float switch on the pump housing at one of three heights.

Continuous operation in manual mode - By placing the sensor on the housing, the pump can be set to continuous operation in manual mode.
