An excellent raw material for preparing substrates in horticultural crops with full possibility of individually shaping both the acidity and fertilization levels. It perfectly improves the structure of weak, heavy and draining soils. It fertilizes and refreshes the soil, collects water and nutrients. Protects against drying, crusting and silting. Fertilizes sandy soils. Acidic peat is a carbon-rich addition to composts. It provides easily decomposable organic matter and facilitates air access to the deeper layers of compost, thus optimizing the processes of humus formation.

Recommended as an addition to substrates when planting acid-loving plants, e.g. conifers, thujas, blueberries, rhododendrons, heathers.
