Longer Plus is a multifunctional adjuvant in the form of a liquid for preparing an aqueous emulsion, intended for use as:
- an additive preventing other preparations from being washed away by rain - contact-acting insecticides, fungicides and other agents
- an anti-transpirant preventing excessive evaporation of water from leaves or needles.
What is Longer Plus?
The answer is in the name. Longer (from English longer) plus... Exactly, plus something, the effect of which you want to extend. We do not limit you here in any way. The task of the Longer plus mixture of your preparation is to significantly extend the effect of your agent.
How does it work?
The task of Longer Plus is to stick to the sprayed surface, create a thin coating and dry so that it is not easy to wash off, e.g. by watering or rain. So if you mix your preparation with Longer plus, it will stick and cannot be washed off for as long as Longer itself cannot be washed off. Simple, right?
Are there any limitations?
Sure, everything has its limitations. So think about what you want to combine with Longer Plus and how your original product is supposed to work. If, for example, it is an antifungal product - it's hard to find a better combination. The protected plant will be able to defend itself against molds or fungi for much longer, because the product will be on it for longer. Similarly with insecticides. But if you use Longer Plus with a product that is supposed to penetrate deeply into the leaf (e.g. fertilizer), Longer will stick it to the surface and hold it there, making it harder to penetrate deep into the plant. In a word - it will hinder more than it helps. So always think about whether what you want to achieve is the product remaining on the sprayed surface for longer. If so - you will love Longer PLUS.
What to watch out for?
Longer Plus is supposed to stick to the sprayed surface and harden under the influence of UV rays contained in sunlight, leaving a thin, hard-to-wash coating on it. So it is sticky and difficult to wash off. So consider whether the sprayed surface can be treated in this way, for example, for aesthetic reasons.
What to remember?
Remember that Longer PLUS will harden under the influence of UV radiation wherever it is, including on the sprayer. So remember to wash the tools you use very thoroughly, plain water will be enough for this. Don't neglect it, don't leave it for later. After hardening, it will be much more difficult to wash it off. After all, that's its advantage.
Is using Longer Plus safe for plants, animals and humans?
We are not aware of any clearly negative impact of Longer Plus on people or the natural environment. However, always remember how it works. If you spray a surface that is supposed to be pretty (e.g. garden furniture or a facade – you can stain it in a way that is difficult to wash off. If you spray it on a flower – you will glue the pollen together and make it harder for pollinators to work. If you combine it with a preparation that should not be on the plant for too long for some reason – Longer Plus will only make the problem worse.
What about ecology?
We have good news for you. We will not pretend that Longer Plus itself is somehow incredibly eco or bio. It is simply a mixture of oil and resin, nothing particularly dangerous, but nothing particularly eco either. But if instead of several sprays of chemical preparations, one is enough, do you think we are helping the planet? Not everything can be bio and eco, but we can use less of everything.
