Important: The maximum recommended starting dose of fertilizer in the substrate is 0.5 kg/m3. Osmocote® 5 doses are adapted to the pot capacity. When transplanting into larger pots, compensate for the dilution effect of the fertilizer by increasing the dose in the new substrate. The recommended doses refer to unfertilized substrates. The recommendations are general in nature. The dose must be adapted to specific situations, for example growing conditions under cover or in greenhouses, and the specific climatic conditions must be taken into account. This product is not recommended for deep spot fertilization and/or planting in autumn and winter. Contact us for more detailed advice.

How to use

1. Use Osmocote® 5 5-6M for short-cycle container crops, perennials and a variety of potted plants.

2. Mix the product into the substrate to ensure optimum distribution of the granules.

3. You can apply Osmocote® 5 spot deep. For further advice, contact your ICL technical advisor.

4. Contact us if Micromax Premium has been applied at rates exceeding 200 g/m3 of substrate and combined with Osmocote® 5.

5. You can combine Osmocote® 5 with Peters and Universol® water-soluble fertilizers.

6. Temperature affects the action time of Osmocote® 5 5-6M. (The fertilizer works for the time specified by the manufacturer at 21ºC). 16ºC: 5–7 months 21ºC: 5–6 months 26ºC: 4–5 months
7. Seal partially used or damaged bags tightly.
8. Store in a dry place.
