Product description

Granulated fertilizer, uniform granules with a color from brown to beige. Protected with anti-caking agents, permanently non-caking. Granules sized 2-6 mm, not less than 95% of the fertilizer mass. Bulk density: 0.98 kg/dm3. Saletrosan® 26 macro is a mixture of ammonium nitrate and ammonium sulfate with the addition of dolomite flour, rich in calcium and magnesium. The fertilizer contains 26% nitrogen (N), including 19% in ammonium form and 7% in nitrate form. It also contains 13% sulfur (S) [this is 32.5% in terms of sulfur trioxide (SO3)], soluble in water, in the form of sulfate.

Purpose and application

This fertilizer is recommended for use in spring, as a top dressing for winter crops, especially for winter rape and winter cereals. It is also recommended for use in early spring for all other crops: spring cereals, corn, industrial and root crops, as well as in vegetable and fruit growing. Saletrosan® 26 macro is irreplaceable in fertilizing cruciferous crops (rapeseed, turnip rape, mustard, cabbage, cauliflower, kohlrabi), legumes, potatoes, onions, leeks, garlic and horseradish. Very effective on organic soils, especially on grasslands. When using Saletrosan® 26 macro before sowing, it is best to mix it shallowly with the soil, and as a top dressing, it is best to use it before the expected rain. Fertilize perennial crops in spring. Due to its hygroscopicity, Saletrosan® 26 macro can be mixed directly before spreading with PODLIDAP®, POLIFOSKA®, POLIMAG® S and with potassium salt, provided that the fertilizers are dry.

Benefits of use

The most important advantage of this fertilizer is the possibility of using nitrogen and sulfur in spring. Nitrogen in ammonium form is not washed out of the soil, is slowly absorbed by plants, affects good plant rooting, supports phosphorus absorption and limits excessive potassium absorption. The content of fast-acting, nitrate form of nitrogen accelerates plant vegetation shortly after applying the fertilizer, i.e. in spring it accelerates plant regeneration after winter weakening. A high content of sulphate sulfur, perfectly soluble in water, immunizes plants and provides them with sulfur from the beginning of spring vegetation. Remember that the greatest sulfur deficiencies in the soil always occur in early spring, after winter washing out of the soil. The use of Saletrosan® 26 macro causes good rooting of plants, increases their growth dynamics already in the early development phases and improves their resistance, therefore it determines the increase in yield and improvement of its quality.
