Why is it so important to fertilize flowering plants?
Flowering plants consume a lot of energy, which they obtain from the supplied nutrients. In order for plants to bloom long and abundantly, they need, above all, significant amounts of potassium. The fertilizer for garden flowers contains a very large amount of potassium (21%) compared to other ingredients. Improperly nourished plants bloom less well and suffer from nutrient deficiencies. It should be remembered that the substrate, which is used intensively, becomes sterile after some time. In the beds where ornamental plants are grown, the spaces between the plants are regularly weeded. Dead above-ground parts of plants that die in winter are cut out. These care treatments cause that the circulation of organic matter in nature is disturbed. In natural conditions, without human intervention, all dead parts of plants are decomposed by microorganisms, and thanks to this, nutrients return to the soil in forms assimilable by plants. Therefore, in the garden, where everything is subordinated to a man who takes care of its order, fertilizer for garden flowers should be used regularly.
The fertilizer for garden flowers also includes a number of other nutrients needed for proper development. Flowering alone is not everything. The plant still needs to look healthy, firm and intensely green for the flowers to proudly display on it. The nitrogen contained in the fertilizer for garden flowers will ensure intensive growth of plants. Phosphorus will additionally support proper flowering, but also help plants resist disease. Thanks to the content of many micronutrients in the fertilizer for flowers, fertilization is comprehensive and fully meets the needs of plants. Plants also need iron to have beautifully green leaves. This ingredient can be found in the fertilizer for flowering plants. Other micronutrients in the fertilizer include: boron, copper, manganese, molybdenum and zinc.
