Magnesium sulfate heptahydrate 25 kg
- High-quality, completely soluble magnesium-sulfur fertilizer for fertilization and foliar feeding of agricultural, horticultural and orchard crops as well as fertilization with irrigation (fertigation). Widely used for fertigation of crops under cover.
Composition:
- Magnesium oxide (MgO) soluble in water: 16%
- Sulfur trioxide (SO3) soluble in water: 32%
Characteristics of the fertilizer:
Product with proven suitability for fertilization, especially for foliar feeding of plants and fertilization combined with irrigation (fertigation). Due to the exceptional ease of penetration of the Mg2 + ion on the leaves into the plants, this fertilizer allows for quick supply of magnesium to plants - an essential ingredient for them, among others. for the synthesis of chlorophyll and thus for the photosynthesis and the production of the crop. At the same time, magnesium sulphate supplies plants with very valuable sulfur - a macronutrient necessary for the synthesis of many important substances, including amino acids and proteins.
This fertilizer is particularly useful for mitigating the effects of magnesium deficiencies resulting from the limited possibilities of supplying plants with Mg through the root system, as well as for removing deficiencies related to the high requirements of certain plant species for magnesium (e.g. sugar beet and fodder beet, maize, potato, rape, grasslands), especially at high yield levels. In vegetable and horticultural production, it is widely known as an excellent source of magnesium and sulfur for field crops and under covers and used in the form of spraying or soil, as well as for fertilization combined with irrigation and the use of microelements.
Foliar fertilization with magnesium sulphate together with urea significantly lowers the urea concentration threshold at which damage (burns) to plants may occur with this fertilizer, and at the same time promotes the absorption of Mg2 + by the leaves and increases the effectiveness of Mg and nitrogen use by plants, and thus ensures high environmental efficiency this treatment. It is particularly effective in the cultivation of plants with a high yielding potential.
Use:
In agricultural crops (in field production), it is most often recommended to feed the plants twice or three times during vegetation with a 5% solution of magnesium sulphate (5 kg of fertilizer in 100 l of water) in the amount of 250-300 l / ha. In the feeding of horticultural crops, as a rule, much lower concentrations of magnesium sulphate solution are used in the subsequent stages of the development of individual plants and the possibility of combining it with urea and other substances (micronutrients, plant protection products) are included in agrotechnical recommendations for each species and instructions for the use of individual preparations.
