It has low nutritional requirements, but requires a certain amount of nutrients to bloom nicely. Lavender fertilizer, thanks to the high content of potassium and phosphorus and micronutrients, will ensure intensive flowering and color of flowers.
Preparation of the site for the cultivation of lavender
Measure out the correct amount of fertilizer. Before planting lavender in spring, apply 15-20 g of fertilizer per 1 m2 as an additive to the soil, when planting in late summer, 10 g of fertilizer per 1 m2.
The fertilizer should be evenly sprinkled over the soil surface and then mixed with its top layer.
Fill the planting hole with a permeable medium with a high pH.
Fertilization during the growing season
We start fertilization in April, using 20 g of fertilizer per 1 m2.
The second fertilization is carried out in the second half of June, using 20 g of fertilizer per 1 m2.
The fertilizers are spread evenly around the plants, mixed with the top layer of soil and watered if possible.
Provides abundant flowering and intense color and flower fragrance.
