- Soluble in water, intended for fertilizing hydrangeas and other flowering plants, especially those that are acid-loving. Recommended for fertilizing both bedding and shrub varieties. The fertilizer additionally has properties that color hydrangeas blue.

Blue hydrangeas is a crystalline coloring fertilizer for hydrangeas. The fertilizer has a coloring effect on a specific species - garden hydrangea. Only in this species of hydrangea in a variety that has a tendency to discolor, we can change the color. However, not all hydrangeas will turn blue. Only pink hydrangeas turn blue. Red hydrangeas turn purple. White hydrangea, on the other hand, will never change color. The fertilizer can also be successfully used to fertilize other species of hydrangeas and flowering acidophilic plants. Crystalline fertilizers are intervention fertilizers - they immediately supplement nutrient deficiencies thanks to minerals that are available to plants in easily assimilable forms.
The blue color of hydrangeas is mainly influenced by the reaction of the substrate. The lower the pH of the medium, the bluer the flowers become. This is due to the aluminum (Al) ions that are released from the substrate in an acidic environment. Blue hydrangea fertilizer additionally supplements aluminum deficiencies. The high content of potassium with the addition of aluminum affects the intense color of flowers and makes it easier for plants to synthesize the dye that gives hydrangea flowers a blue color. Phosphorus, when we want to change the color of hydrangeas, is an unnecessary element, because with a large amount of it in the soil, aluminum is transformed into forms that are inaccessible to hydrangeas. Therefore, the blue hydrangea fertilizer has been deprived of this element, which has a positive effect on discoloration. Several shades of flowers on one bush means that the medium within the bush has a slightly different acidity.
Method of application
Apply from March to mid-September, in the soil every 2 weeks. Dissolve the fertilizer in water, allocating 1 teaspoon of fertilizer per 2 liters of water (5 g of fertilizer per 2 liters of water). Mix the fertilizer poured into the water thoroughly. Water the plants around with the obtained solution, to the required humidity of the substrate. Plants should be watered on the ground, avoiding contact with leaves and flowers. Do not exceed the recommended doses, as the fertilizer is highly condensed.
