- Granulated mineral fertilizer for fertilizing all types of lawns and ornamental grasses. The fertilizer contains nitrogen in an easily digestible form, which causes the lawn to quickly thicken and regain its intense green color.
Advantages
- for fertilizing lawns that are frequently mowed and intensively used
- replenishes nitrogen deficiencies needed to rebuild green mass
- guarantees proper density and green color of the grass
- efficiency: 5 kg per 420 m2
Lawn fertilizer - quick carpet effect is a granulated mineral fertilizer. Intended for fertilizing all types of lawns and ornamental grasses. The fertilizer contains nitrogen in an easily digestible form, which causes the lawn to quickly thicken and regain its intense green color. Systematic fertilization causes even turf growth and high grass health. Using a lawn fertilizer with a quick carpet effect also prepares the lawn for intensive use. Immediately after fertilizing with fertilizer, you can start using the lawn. Quick carpet effect lawn fertilizer can also be successfully used as an addition to autumn fertilizers that we want to use in spring (it only contains nitrogen, so there is no risk of doubling the dose). The lawn fertilizer contains two forms of nitrogen in balanced proportions. The minerals composed in this way are very quickly absorbed by the grass, thanks to which the tussocks develop strongly. Moreover, the grass will turn green quickly. Unattractive, especially after the winter dormancy period, the lawn gains the ingredients needed for reconstruction. Grass fertilizer is especially recommended after aeration or scarification treatments, after which the turf is severely damaged and thinned.
Why is it worth using lawn fertilizer for quick carpet effect?
Frequent mowing of the lawn, especially with mowers with a container collecting mown remains, causes all the nutrients collected in the blades to be taken away. It is worth considering purchasing a mower that has the ability to change the mode to mulching (grinding the cut grass). Then we can mow the grass from time to time, leaving shredded grass remnants on the lawn surface. Remember not to do this too often, as this will create a layer of felt that will have to be removed later to prevent the lawn from getting smothered. Under natural conditions, the mown blades decompose and after some time humus is formed, providing nutrients to the plants. It is a complex and long-lasting process of matter circulation in nature. It is difficult to maintain natural processes in a garden, especially when time is of the essence. That's why it's important to use lawn fertilizer with ingredients that are immediately available. It will take a long time for the cut grass to decompose into forms digestible by plants and return to the soil. Usually, the decomposition process of organic matter is too slow to provide the lawn with valuable nutrients quickly. To maintain biological balance, introducing organic matter into the soil is very important. Therefore, balanced fertilization should be combined with fertilization with natural fertilizers, such as mown grass from your own garden. In this way, we care for the environment and prevent the soil from becoming sterile. Let us remember that, on the other hand, by leaving frequently mown blades of grass on the lawn, we create the risk of creating felt, which causes the lawn to suffocate and, as a result, its weaker growth. Such felt should be removed annually during scarification. After such treatment, the lawn may not look attractive, but it is crucial for the proper development of the lawn. Immediately after the treatment, it is a good idea to fertilize the lawn with grass fertilizer. Fertilizer granules will reach the soil faster when the soil is uncovered. After such fertilization, water the lawn abundantly so that the fertilizer can easily penetrate the root system. Sometimes, after scarifying or aerating lawns, it is recommended to sandblast* to loosen the soil that is too clay. If necessary, sandblasting can be combined with fertilization. Just add fertilizer to the sand with a fraction of 0.5-0.8 mm and spread it with a seeder or by hand. Thanks to this procedure, you will save time on lawn care. Using lawn fertilizer will allow the grass to regenerate, creating the effect of a green carpet in the garden.
*Remember that striping is performed on clayey, excessively compact soils. Performing the treatment on permeable soils will increase water permeability, which is not recommended.
Method of application
Fertilize lawns from March to August, every 45-60 days. Autumn fertilizer should be applied from September.
1. Apply 12 g of fertilizer per 1 m2 of lawn.
2. Spread the fertilizer evenly on the lawn by hand or with a special seeder. The lawn should be dry at the time of treatment.
3. After applying the fertilizer, water the lawn abundantly.
ATTENTION! Do not apply fertilizer to young lawns, immediately after sowing grass seeds when establishing the lawn. The first fertilization treatment can be performed 2 months after seed germination. 1 handful is about 30-40 g of fertilizer.
