Fly bag XL

The XL fly bag is an exceptionally effective and very capacious trap for monitoring the presence of flies in open areas by catching them. Catching flies allows you to detect the presence of these insects and assess their number.

Flies are attracted by a natural, non-toxic bait placed inside the trap, and the special design of the product prevents them from escaping from the inside. The trap is suitable for monitoring the vast majority of fly species found in Poland.

The XL fly bag has two significant advantages

• the large capacity of the bag (up to 8 l) allows you to catch tens of thousands of flies and conduct observations for a long period of time,
• it is a reusable product - you can replace the plastic bag with a new one and use it with another portion of bait (spare sets containing both of these elements are available for sale).

How to use

Observing the caught flies allows you to decide whether to use a pesticide to eliminate them.

1. Remove the red roof from the yellow cover and straighten the bag.

2. Straighten the cone from the mesh and make sure that the hole at its top is clear.

3. Pour the contents of the sachet into the bag and add 1 liter of lukewarm water.

4. Cover the trap with the red roof, hooking it into the protrusions with the hole located on the yellow cover.

5. Hang the trap in a place between the source of the incoming flies and the protected area (house, garden), at least 15 m from a residential building and 10 m from breeding areas. Place the trap at head height or higher (1.5 - 2 m), in a sunny and airy place.

6. The trap starts working after 2 days. Refill with a small amount of water every week.
7. When the trap smell becomes very bothersome, replace the bag and bait using the BROS XL Fly Bag Replacement Kit.
