Properties

• Dańkowskie Avanti is the latest variety of winter rye characterized by a record high level of yield among population ryes.
• It is a universal variety in cultivation. It does very well in extensive cultivation technology on weak soils (early variety) and in intensive cultivation technology - very good resistance to lodging.
• Registered in Poland and in registration studies in Austria.
• Dańkowskie Avanti is characterized by good resistance to diseases, which is in line with the Green Deal strategy, which assumes the reduction of the use of PPPs in the EU.
• Dańkowskie Avanti is a medium-height variety with high resistance to lodging.
• Dańkowskie Avanti has large grain (MTZ approx. 32-35 grams) with very good quality parameters, which makes it particularly useful for milling and baking purposes.
• It has a high protein content.
• Very good tillering ability. The recommended sowing rate is 2 seed units: 260 germinating grains per 1 m2 (ca. 80-90 kg/ha).
• In the case of early sowing and intensive cultivation technology, the rate should be reduced by 10%, i.e. to 1.8 j.s./ha.
• In the case of delayed sowing, the sowing rate should be increased by 10%, i.e. to 2.2 j.s./ha.
