Lime is intended for whitewashing trees and shrubs. The use of this product significantly reduces the risk of frost burn. At the same time, it discourages pests from climbing the bark of trees and shrubs (pests on a white background are very visible and thus easily caught by beneficial birds). Lime for whitewashing trees and shrubs by SUMIN has a specially developed composition that allows it to be precisely spread on the surface of the bark of trees and shrubs, it also contains an agent that increases adhesion to improve the durability of the treatment.
How to use:
The content of the package is enough to prepare 5 liters of lime slurry. If a smaller volume of slurry is required, appropriate proportions of lime and water should be selected. First, pour the required amount of water into a vessel of appropriate capacity, then, while adding lime, avoid dusting and keep stirring the suspension. Apply the suspension evenly using a suitable brush.
Date of use: Lime is most often used once in the months from December to March (leafless period). If necessary, the treatment can be repeated every 4-5 weeks.
