- Concentrated, multi-component liquid rooting fertilizer with the addition of vitamin B. For use during rooting semi-woody and woody cuttings and after planting rooted plants.
Vitamin B contained in the fertilizer stimulates the formation of hair roots responsible for the uptake of nutrients. A properly balanced set of micronutrients ensures proper growth of the root system of ornamental plants.
The fertilizer contains an increased dose of phosphorus, which contributes to the intensive development of the root system. Rooting fertilizer for woody cuttings also contains a starting dose of nitrogen, which supports the plant in creating aboveground parts. A number of micronutrients also support root formation. Zinc is a stimulator of the production of auxins - plant hormones. Auxins determine cell division, which in turn contributes to the formation of adventitious roots. It is after cutting the seedling and placing it in water that adventitious roots are formed on the above-ground plant shoots.
A simple recipe for a woody and semi-woody seedling:
Indoor plants for semi-woody and woody cuttings, e.g. ficus, cissus
Trees, shrubs and vines propagated by semi-woody and lignified cuttings, e.g. thuja, plane tree, privet, poplar, willow, dogwood, David's budley, bouquet and shrub hydrangea, physalis, jasmine, currant, shrub, cinquefoil, tamarind , goldfish, varicose veins, honeysuckle, kiwi - actinidia, Aubert's knotweed, boxwood, vines.
It is best to use this year's shoots, which are similar in thickness to a pencil, to make cuttings. Cut the cuttings to a length of about 15-20 cm, depending on the arrangement of the nodes (places from which the leaves grew). We cut the shoots in such a way that there are two knots on it. Cut the top of the shoot at right angles, and the bottom at an angle. The prepared seedlings are planted 2/3 of their depth in a mixture of half and half universal soil and coarse sand.
Benefits:
- concentrated liquid rooting fertilizer
- perfect for watering rooting woody cuttings
- Vitamin supplement has a positive effect on the development of hair roots
Application method
The package includes a measuring cup that facilitates dosing the fertilizer.
Rooting semi-woody and lignified cuttings: The fertilizer is used in the form of a 20% water solution (e.g. 10 ml of fertilizer + 40 ml of water). After placing the seedling in the substrate, water it with the prepared solution once every 2 weeks until the seedling forms roots. 50 ml of the solution is enough for several seedlings.
Planting rooted plants: The fertilizer is used in the form of a 20% water solution (e.g. 10 ml of fertilizer + 40 ml of water). After planting young plants, water them with the prepared solution once every 2 weeks. 50 ml of the solution is enough for several seedlings.
